We have been select to be an End Point Assessment centre for the new Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard. This is a fantastic result and we are looking forward to being able to offer end point assessment to training providers delivering this apprenticeship.
Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard
As part of the government’s apprenticeship reforms frameworks are being replaced by standards. Standards mark a significant way in which apprenticeships will be delivered. They are developed by employer groups and set out the skills, knowledge and behaviours expected by apprentices within their industries. The Digital Marketer Standard has been developed for apprentices working in a number of roles including:
- Digital Marketing Assistant
- Digital Marketing Executive
- Digital Marketing Co-ordinator
- Campaign Executive
- Social Media Executive
- Content Co-ordinator
- Email Marketing Assistant
- SEO Executive
- Analytics Executive
- Digital Marketing Technologist
Digital Marketer End Point Assessment
One of the more significant changes to apprenticeships will be the need to complete them by going through end point assessment activities. These EPA have to be conducted by organisations that are independent to the training provider. For the Digital Marketer Apprenticeships the end point assessment requirements are:
- Summative portfolio
- Synoptic project
- Employer reference
This is an interesting time for everyone involved with apprenticeships and although there will be many challenges, the proposed changes and developments are exciting and will benefit learners and employers.
