Social Media Training

Social media training is important to businesses as it means that staff are properly trained to support advertising and marketing efforts. We have created a new website – which has short video based courses that are also extremely low cost. We created this site as we were being asked by a number of businesses in which we had social media and digital marketing apprentices to help them with training for their existing members of staff.

Social Media Training and Development

We are also conscious that taking time out of work to attend social media courses can be difficult so the short video based courses are really useful for busy members of staff. We are now also in the process of developing social media handbooks and eBooks which can be downloaded, printed and used as reference material.

For businesses that want to take their staff to the next level of social media training we also offer the Diploma in Social Media for Business. This is an accredited and nationally recognised qualification. Accredited qualification are more beneficial that attending Luke’s LinkedIn Training, Fred’s Facebook Training or Tamara’s Twitter Training. Unaccredited courses might sound like they are useful but they do not help staff and do not benefit business CPD activities.

An accredited qualification can be added to CVs and will be recognised by employers and are there transferable from job to job. The Level 3 diploma covers all aspects for social media and digital marketing. They units include:

  • Principles of Social Media within a Business
  • Principles of Keywords and Optimisation
  • Social Networking Management for a Business
  • Using Collaborative Technologies
  • Content Management Systems
  • Creating and Optimising Content
  • Social Media Advertising and Promotion

The course is online and is packed with videos and documents providing all of the information needed for anyone wanting to develop their skills and knowledge of digital marketing and social media. We also run webinars which courses delegates are able to attend.
